Ouch! But that\u2019s not the only reason it\u2019s hard to sit still at this super hip parlor: Compelling art lines its walls, with new work rotated in frequently to keep heads turning.<\/p>\n<p>We\u2019ve come a long way from when redheads were targeted as witches or vampires in the infamous <a href=\"http:\/\/www.malleusmaleficarum.org\/\" target=\"_blank\">Malleus Maleficarum<\/a>, but gingerism and its stereotypes linger. Children are welcome but, per the salon\u2019s website, \u201cDon\u2019t bring your little brats up in here and let them run around like the little demons they are &#8230; unless they are really really good.\u201d (Maybe the parents would get another application of the <em>lash<\/em>?)
