\"spikes\"<\/a>I am delighted<\/em> to announce that for the second year in a row I was named Best Local Blogger in ABC 7’s Bay Area A-List for my Arts and culture blog, Postdiluvian Photo! A huge THANK YOU to everyone who voted for me!<\/p>\n

Taking 2nd in the tight race for Best Blogger was Stacie Tamaki’s Flirty Blog<\/a>. She’s a class act and worth checking out. Other winners in that “Local Flavor” category include Olympic gold medalist Kristi Yamaguchi for Best Locally Grown Athlete, and Sarah & Vinnie, to whom I listen every morning on Alice at 97.3 FM,\u00a0for Best Radio Personality.<\/p>\n

Other art-related winners:<\/h3>\n

Consistently a finalist, Quent Cordair Fine Art<\/a>, in Napa, was named Best Art Gallery, edging out\u00a0ArtHaus, which won the title the previous three years. The highest ranked gallery\u00a0in the East Bay (7th overall), is K Gallery<\/a> at Rhythmix Cultural Works, in Alameda.<\/p>\n

After placing 2nd to the California Academy of Sciences for Best Museum the last two years, the de Young<\/a> grabbed the top spot. SFMOMA placed third.<\/p>\n

If your body is your art gallery, Sacred Rose<\/a>\u00a0in Berkeley and Albany is still the place to get inked and pierced.<\/p>\n

Flax Art & Design<\/a> in SF is the best place for Arts and Crafts for the third year in a row.<\/p>\n

Looking to be entertained?\u00a0American Conservatory Theater<\/a> was named Best Theatre Group, again,\u00a0and Castro Theatre<\/a> is still the Best Indie Cinema.<\/p>\n
