Photographer Lydia Panas shoots on her farm in Kutztown, Pennsylvania–Mennonite country–once hometown to the late Keith Haring. She simply asks her subjects to stand there. “They realize after a while that I\u2019m not going to do anything. And they start to drop the poses,” she said. To Panas this is a glimpse at their true face behind the mask.<\/p>\n
